Ive been a long standing fan of the black and whites for many years followed them home and away this year and many years so im not an armchair fan so everyone knows.
Im sick to death of constantly reading the same old drivell get rid of doran get rid of webster doddy is terrible la la la.. I read a great post from AJ Viking on another thread that said were improving and its still so very early in the season!, What people are missing is that we now are trying some creative moves, we do now have the attacking line in order, we are getting some dummy runners " occasionally" but until PC gets all the lads in a training session on a regular basis were going to see a slow improvement. Put it this way would you rather go back to how Steve McChocker Mcormack had us, he ruined us by playing his boring negative rugby and he signed most of this team they are his players and what everyone needs to remember the team has been playing PASS DRIVE KICK, for seasons now so to adjust to attacking rugby and set plays will be a shock for them!
Rome wasnt built in a day give the lads a break its doing my head in too, but Loz Doran Webbo etc will come good, they just need time to gel.
We will be there or there abouts and come september we will have improved as Paul Cullen will no everyone inside out and hopefully brought some new blood in too

I have distanced myself as much as I can from these sort of threads/posts.
it just wrecks my head when you hear people crying about it, it wont make it any better some people do it for a rise on here an i vouch for that but there are genuine idiots on here i mean a post titled the season is over.

You want to read the Leigh board a little, some folk are never pleased.
Having said that, IMO I would be suprised if Cullen answers all your prayers, even if you are prepared to wait 12 months. You are in free fall and I worry for you that the downward spiral will continue.

Free fall? I don't think so. We nearly won a game that I thought we'd lose by 16.
If we play like that next week, I think we might cause a shock at Leigh.
cullen dragged wire from the depths to a top 6 team in SL in 2 yrs albeit not winning anything but it will be enough for us cos we have the talent in this division to get to a grand final nr cup final but just lack guidance, i hate to admit cullen done that with warrington but he can do it with us, and it was mainly down to briers and appo how the wire turn around started, appo was more or less finished in the game an cullen got 110% from him so he can make players tick like i said it takes a little longer than a couple of months.

Sometimes it only takes one man's influence to change things. At Halifax that man was Martin Hall. Everyone has to be on board with the ethos though - right throughout the club and i think it's that which is not yet happening at Widnes but for god's sake - he (Cullen) hasn't been there long enough yet. Fans want instant success but patience will see good times return. In 2004, Halifax had a relegation scrap with York and only JUST managed to survive in NL1. Now we are top of the pile (for now) and looking good. Widnes have better resources currently than Halifax did then, ergo, the turnaround should be quicker. I've said on another thread - you won't be having these conversations next year. You will be gloating once more
