Whether folk like it or not, Celtic Crusaders are in Super League for another two and a half seasons. So for that time it would be more helpful for all concerned if posters here were to spend time putting forward suggestions and ideas that might help them develop their club and the game generally in South Wales.
After that it would be more appropriate to criticize them for what they might have done wrong while continuing to applaud them for what they have done right.
Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' 'Two Seasons'. and "Three Good Years" All six feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."

Glee.
My club are doing quite well given that ambitions to play in SL next season have now been removed by the rfl and that their future will be decided by men in suits rather than on the field at 3 yearly intervals!
As for developing the game in S Wales?? I don't have a problem with that either. Never have had.
The franchising system, the abolition of P+R. The favourable quota dispensation given towards the club - I do have a problem with and as such have developed absolute indiference to the club.

I have every sympathy with you, RFF. But the decision has been made, for better or worse, to introduce the licence system. For whatever reason, the RFL saw fit to hand out one of those precious licences to the CC.
Constantly coming on this board and demanding that the Celtic fan's justify their inclusion will not help Fetherstone Rovers. These people are fan's of this club and are obviously very happy at being in SL. They are not responsible for the situation and can do nothing about it. So it is a totally pointless exercise.
I had my say on the subject before the announcements last July, and then immediately after. I see little to be gained by carrying it on and now wish Celtic Crusaders and their fans luck. I hope it works down there.
I also hope the RFL ditch the licence system, reintroduces P&R and we see Fev in SL one day soon. I really wish the RFL were honest with us all and just come out and told us what they were upto instead of insulting our intelligence with the ridiculous charade that was the licence system. But these thoughts have had no relevance on these boards since last July and cannot change what happened.
I would suggest that e-mailing the RFL would be a better way of getting these issues off your chest, not that that would do any good either, but at least they are the ones responsible and the ones who should be answering the question raised in this thread.
On thread drift:

Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back! Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!
Your problem is your cr@ppy aussies. Not a patch on Wig@n's or Stains or Warrington or Dull or DullKR or Catalans etc. You need better aussies let's face it. Soon as you do the sky's the limit.

Good post, and very relevant. However, if the NL clubs have been passed over for a new club, and the performances on and off the field of that new club aren't being delivered, surely fans, club officials have the right to ask the question??
When GanEden so ineloquently put his lead post to this thread and asked "where has all the hype gone", it gave me a notion to enquire whether his question was valid, which I believe it is.
Who better to explain than fans of that club. The RFL (who are the one I level my anger at) certainly won't other than to trot out the same old PR. I know, I'm a pain in the @rse with them as well!!!

Are you you both stupid or ignorant or both? We only have the franchise cause we rightfully deserved it and to see IF it will develop in Wales.
