An interesting place to visit in Huddersfield after the game on Sunday is the Rugby League Heritage Centre. It is situated in the centre of the town close to the main railway station and in it you will see a large collection of Rugby League history and memorabilia: century old digitised photographs, cups and trophies, medals, boots, jerseys, banners and many other varied items. There are also three plasma TVs showing pre-war games and more recent games and from both sides of the equator.
On sale is a nice collections of books, novels, DVDs and magazines. Entry to the centre is free but only until 4 p.m. when it closes!
Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' 'Two Seasons'. and "Three Good Years" All six feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."
