Just the one eyed words of your man, Middleton.

I'd love to see KDSL's profits for the last ten years and the relative payments each club makes etc etc. 99% of the stuff floating about on DATM is just made up sh*te that people adopt as fact and then refuse to back up with the appropriate evidence.

To say they're morons is: (i) an understatement, and (ii) an insult to morons.

They sit there and harp on about what other people should and shouldn't do with their own money, act like the business or morality police when not one of them have the first clue about either and then backtrack and contradict themselves like it's going out of fashion. As thick as custard that lot. Get your hands in your pockets lads, if you're that bothered. Mind, all of them together probably couldn't muster enough to buy an industrial sized drum of gunk!

If Huddersfield Town aren't happy, pay Davy what hew has spent and then offer to but the shares back.

Where is this wonderful profit making organisation come from after years of debt?

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

I don't know for sure so I'm not going to post as though it's a fact but I find it very hard to believe Davy got involved with a club on the precipice of going out of business because he saw it as an opportunity to make money.

I also think it highly likely that the episode has cost him a fair bit of money too. But hey, stuff like that doesn't count, does it. They want all his money, all the good stuff and none of the bad stuff.

Not one of the dissenters has the brass to do any of this themselves. If Davy were such a bad ass then why has Hoyle chosen to get involved with him? These particular HTFC fans should look in the mirror and try judging themselves. If they weren't such a pathetic bunch of know it all know nothings then maybe the club might not have found itself in the position they were in. They keep going on about how it's their club and they deserve x & y, yet they don't put their hands in their pockets do they. Like anyone would be influenced by people like them. I wouldn't wipe the crud off my boots with them.

Absolutely, IIRC Ken Davey got involved because if Town went bust, KDSL went bust and the Giants stood to lose the the named McAlpine.

He has spent huge sums of money on Town to make sure they didnt sink without a trace and their oh so precious club could stay in business.

All that is forgotten though isnt it, but then soccer fans are nototiously fickle, short termist and blinkered.

I love one small line in that article "(Ken Davey)...got involved in RL because of the "integrity and honesty"...was unwilling to get involved in the football club..."

I paraphrase, but the truth is there isnt it.

Please don't tar all Town fans with the same brush, Myself and quite a few others support both teams. All this shares issue is being dragged up by a few people who think Davey/Giants are fleecing them, and a few "sheep" are following them. The leaders are getting there "5 minutes of fame" with the "Anti Davey" campaign and a slight distortion of the facts. Let's face it we're never going to be able to compete crowd wise/ income wise with the Wigans/ Leeds of this world and Town are never going to be able to compete with the Chelsea's/Liverpool's/Man Utds of the football world who show massive profits year in year out, I'd love it if we did. How Davey can be accused of asset stripping something that earns nothing I don't know, he owns both clubs, has lost money with both clubs, so who am I to tell him what to do with his money, run his business etc. The trouble with a lot of footy fans is "They want it all and they want it now" and just see chairmen, directors as cash cows.
The sooner all this is settled the better, I honestly wish Ken had never got involved with Town but fear I wouldn't have a football team to support as all the so called "saviours" who supposedly wanted to invest in them were also getting there "5 minutes of fame" and Town would have been out of business.

"There's only one Ken Davy!",
Give the guy a Nighthood IMO or even better make him a patron saint or something! he becomes more Divine all the time!

Transfer fees:
Real Madrid do it!
Manchester United do it!
now the Huddersfield Giants do it!

Sign of the times people, things change!

This so called asset stripping would have happened whether Ken had taken over or not. the 40% was one thing that any investor would want to protect. These deluded Fans claim that this 40% is rightfully theirs but it isn't it belonged to the old regime. And where are all the giants fans complaining of their 20% share thats also gone "missing"?

I've said this before but there was no-one to come in the offer they claim was there was withdrawn 48 hours prior to Ken even thinking about it. He never saw profit in it he saw a substantial loss of sport in this town it was really that close. The administrators had to accept his offer as it was the only one before the deadline.
