Am after some information about rugby league teams in and around newcastle. Am wanting to join a team but just after some information about teams, standard etc. last played at uni level about 3years ago.

I would say the most obvious team to approach would be Gateshead Storm. They play in the Co-Operative National Conference which is a summer league. I believe they have links with Gateshead Thunder and act as sort of reserve/feeder team for Thunder.

Other than those I am not too sure of any other amateur teams in that area
