Five of us behind the sticks both days. Can't wait!

How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin.

Did you sit behind the sticks? We ended up in West Upper then East lower and I got a smashing sun-tan.

Phew - well that was a weekend and a half. I am absolutely cream-crackered and I need to sleep. Have just about thawed out now - I have never been so cold but strangely have a pink face from the sun! Had real good crack with fans from other clubs although the Celtic supporters in our hotel were a little dis-chuffed this morning. All in all a good weekend but I think on balance I prefer Murrayfield to the Millennium as stadiums but Cardiff for the watering holes as Edinburgh is too spread-out and at the moment is just like a giant building site.

I loved it!! Never ever sat where my tickets were for!! And glad that had the stewards been more strict I did choose lower tier as those steps to the upper tiers were long and high!! Watched our game in the heights of the West stand and boy was it cold but lovely views out over the city!! Watched the other games in the East lower with the sun in my face and feeling lovely and warm!!
Cobi loved it too and wasn't too much trouble and was completely whacked after both days!! He made friends with kids from almost all the clubs participating!!

From my point of view the non strictness of the ticketing was a concern as there were 3 types of ticket prices and yet anyone could sit where they wanted so had I gone and splashed out I would've been so upset with the situation! Thankfully I didn't!!

I can't comment on Cardiff as I've only ever been once and that wasn't for this type of event! But I'm sure things could be improved in Edinburgh but all said and done it was so great to see 14 sets of supporters enjoying each others companies without any bother!! Apart from that Cas fan behind us complaining about us sitting on tackles!!

I'll be glad for the trams next time. I was knackered after walking to and from Murrayfield + getting lost in the centre. My phones does not account for for the different levels on it's Map App.

Just be glad you didn't wait for the bus like we did!! Bus after bus went by full to the rafters!! i think we finally got a bus after 3/4 hour only to find our lift was directly behind that bus!!

Having been to Edinburgh many times the digging up of Princes street was a shame as that street just amazes me how it's so commercial on one side then really historic and cultural on the other!! Plus the narrowing of the footpaths it was a tight squeeze on some parts!!!
