Maybe a fight at Wembley or the City of Manchester to finish up against Amir Kahn would be the way to go out.

You got the feeling alot of the time that the fight was more about him and Mayweather Snr then it was about the fighters.

Mayweather just doesn't seem Hattons kind of man. Hatton is a down to earth bloke and Mayweather is an arrogant di*khead.

Roach has an ego as big as any in boxing and there are plenty of massive egos.
But he got his fighter spot on tonight unfortunately. Should have waited to see how Hatton was before slagging him off but Mayweather snr has/had got it all wrong.

Hatton won't want to retire but i can see him losing heart with boxing. Problem is he could fight a lower fighter in front of thousands upon thousands of people. But he wont want that, if he has any doubt he can't beat the best, he will call it a day.

trouble is who would his next fight be? you dont want to go out on a losing note but who in all honesty would want to fight him? i know it sounds sad but roach did his homework on hatton and every other trainer out there can see now what hattons weakness is/are!

i think now would be the time to walk away. no fan in their right mind would disrespect him for that!! i've watched every pro fight of his bar one and i came awfully awfully close to going to this one, i would not begrudge him his retirement now, rather than see him keep wheeling himself out against either never been never will be boxers or top notch boxers that will keep inflicting damage to him or his family!!

A little harse. He has fought 2 of the greatest boxers of all time and come up well short both times. Don't think he choked anything, he just fought better boxers

They say they Khan't do a deal because they get on too well. If they did fight I would hope Hatton would teach the tossa a lesson, but would prob be other way around.
