He also got walked all over for one of their tries. He completly misjudged a kick and blanch leapt over him to score. Blanch isn't considered a great catcher and Gardner is.

So there are two sides to it tbf
Gardner used to get pilloried for being poor under kicks - shows what a good attitude and hard work can do for your game.
looking at boots and all now and it looks like the way ainscough is getting caught out is when he is being sucked in in defence. If I was noble I would tell him to hog the touchline in defence, when it comes to the last two tackles. This will give him that extra split second to take the ball.
As people have already said, ainscough can take a high ball its just the odd defensive blip which he needs to cut out. He does not deserve to be dropped for a blip, noble should have him working on soulutions in training which I am sure he is.

It would be great if he could get some advice from Jason Robinson for training, Jason was not the biggest player but never really struggled under the high ball.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS

It would be great if he could get some advice from the worlds best under a high ball.....and we just happen to have him at our club. 2h with rads this week would rke ainny a different player under the high ball.
Just hope nobby doesnt drop him......that is clearly what potter wants or why else make the statement. Potter is running scared that ainny will show his established stars up again, so he tries to grow the seed in nobbys brain that ainscough cant defend!! Hopefully noble isnt stupid enough to fall for it.....but then this is Brian Noble we're talking about
