Mike Stephenson in entitled to his opinion in his weekly column in the Rugby Leaguer & League Express and that's all it is his own opinion.

Having followed Salford City Reds for many years we know we have faults this season and in truth at times we have found the going tough to say the least, but in our club captain Malcolm Alker we have a real old fashion 100% player / club man who gives his all week in week out and I think 'Stevo' has been a tad unfair this time concerning our Mal.

I think he's right concerning the burn out factor over Richard Myler and I fully agree with him about Jeremy Smith who still blows hot and cold so far this season

And of course Robbie Paul is getting a little long in the teeth, but with Robbie Paul I firmly believe he stll has a lot to offer the game this season when fully fit.

Also Mr Stephenson states that our head-coach needs to blood a few more players. Well 'Stevo' I'm sure Shaun McRae knows best and is more qualified that the likes of you in this department.

And then 'Stevo' hit's out at Ray Cashmere not being able to stay out on the paddock for longer periods?

In my opinion Ray Cashmere has improved over the last few weeks and will continue to do so and of course he will get more game time in due course.

At last but not least on loan Darrell Goulding and Stefan Ratchford got a bit of praise from Mr Stephenson - Thank God.

The title says it all.
He does not like Salford and never has.
If people do listen to what he says then God Help us.
First Stanza, T-R-Y time, should be looking at drop goal attempt (on 70mins),first phase, second phase, not dominating ruck area etc etc.
All common quotes from the bald headed dick

I've heard on more than one occassion that his hatred stems from salford rejecting him when he was a youngster! Could be wrong though

He was shot in both arms , and both legs. He later died because of his injuries. Tommy 25th March 2007.

Salford City Reds are the National League Champions again and nobody will ever win a Grand Final more dramatically than this. Division One champions, Grand Final winners, winners of the Northern Rail Cup; everything their hearts desired. Down and out? Not a bit of it, they are never out. Memories are made of this forever and a day, Salford fans will ask "where did you watch the 2008 Grand Final? Where did you see John Wilshere save the day with the last kick of the ball?"

mate,he's a bald-headed to$$er who regularly talks out of his @rse,not only about us but on other RL matters as well.
It's about time Sky reviewed both his and Hemmings' performance as they have been a laughing stock for some time and do not portray RL in a good light IMO especially when you compare these two to others on Sky's RL coverage (Phil Clarke for example) and the presenters in Australia on Setanta's coverage of the NRL.
Sky - please get rid of these 2 idiots

Seconded. Dave Woods had a bit of a shocker this week too, Tadulala planted the ball down for his try as Woods proclaims great work by Puletua. Still not as bad as reffering to everyone as 'him' or 'that guy'.

Just read that column about Stevo and the guys an idiot. Its not just Stevo who slags Salford off though on the Super League show Harry Gration talks us down constantly. I dont watch boots n all or the SL show any more because it really winds me up and at the end of the day them so called pundits dont watch us for 80 mins every week so there opinion isnt worth listening to anyway
