dont get me wrong, greenshields is a great player....one of which i would be happy to see at fc....all im saying is that he can be dodgy defensively at times......but if greenshields would be interested then i would take him definatly and release tony...

Then we'll have to agree to differ. IMO Brough has greatly improved with ball in hand - more creative and a better passing game than he had when he was with us. Coupled with his already impressive kicking game and defence this has made him a better all-round halfback.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

To be fair though since he's left us clubs have given him more responsibility, when he was at ours he was in the shadows of Horne and Cooke who just gave him the ball on the 5th to kick.

I would welcome back Brough with open arms. Sure the kid's not a world beater but he sure plays his hardest every game. He has a great kicking game and plays with passion. He organises his forwards and creates gaps and space. I would rather sign a world class 7 but Broughy would do. We would cerainly play better with him playing 7.
The Mighty Hull FC, Carlsberg don't do rugby league clubs....but if they did..........

From what i can recall, he played mainly in the halves/Centre originally and it was because of his defensive credentials he was installed at FB.
