most kids have a spell where they go off the boil and think they are better off doing something else but persevere and come training night they usually come home from school and cant wait to get down to the field.
this weekend the castleford panthers u9s have been playing in the scarborough festival where we played teams from lancashire,the panthers won 4 games but narrowly lost out against st judes from wigan and newton from st helens.the standard of rugby was has tough has we have ever played and we really needed to knuckle down and played some of our best rugby we have done all year.its been a great experiance for all the players and really brought the kids closer together has a unit which will put us in good stead for remainder of the year.all the players are battered and bruised and in need of a good nights sleep after what i can only describe has a long weekend.
