I'm interested in the thoughts of you knowledgeable chaps as to what you think would be the ideal line up for the satain match. based on Carmont and Piggy being fit. I would go as follows.
Phelps
Ainscough
Carmont
Gleeson
Roberts
S Tomkins
Smith
Fielden
Tommy
Feka
Bailey
Hock
Lockers
Subs - Richards, J Tomkins, Piggy, Coley
There is a place in wigan, right next to Robin Park, where legends such as Farrell, and Radlinski made their mark. the boardroom's full of trophy's, its time we won some more, All the other teams know what we mean when they hear the Wigan roar.....
Cant drop Richards. He was back on form with the boot yesterday, but i would play him on the wing.
Its interesting what Noble will do with this one, Phelps played well yesterday, will carmont be back fit? If so what does Noble do with that. But i have a feeling that Phelps will be benched.
As far as people talking about Ainscoughs defensive weakness, i still believe we cannot drop a player who have scored 17 in 10 games. We would be foolish to, he just needs more support under the high ball from his centre. I noticed yesterday that we shifted Pat to the wing and and Ainscough at FB in defence.
Fielden needs to be on the bench, i would drop him completely but i dont think we can until O'Carroll is back fit.
Id like to see Roberts stay in the side and build the partnership with Gleeson.
Several potential head aches for BN.

I for one would be very pleased if Ainscough misses out.
Interesting how fortunes change - this looked like being a massacre a fortnight ago, now it's a very tough one to call.

Can't wait
Got to agree with that. I think if I was a non-Wigan fan and my team were playing them this weekend, I'd be over the moon if Ainscough was dropped/rested for the match. Top SL try-scorer in an underperforming team - can't be dropped, simple as that.
Don't worry - It only seems kinky the first tiime you try it!
We need more from him than just kicking. Don't get me wrong I think he's great but I see Roberts and Gleeson starting to gel and you can't drop Ainscough or Phelps on current form. Just my opinion.

Don't you think he joined the play well for our first or second try (can't remember which), he got a great pass from Smith and passed it to Phelps/Ainscough?

Correct, highlighted is the important bit for me. Your only as good as your last game.
Also i think Riddell may be fighting against fitness, so for me it would mean Sam starting with Tommy at 9.
