Looks like Neil Lowe will be leaving the club, according to the League Express. He refused to play for the reserve team after been picked. and he has shown he is not a team player Eaton said.
Also Craig Fawcett is allowed to join another club only on loan.

You only have to look at the size of his belly to see that it is not so much a lack of commitment to Keighley but a lack of commitment to the game as a whole. No great loss in my opinion, he cost us far more points than he scored. Maybe being selected for Scotland (depsite them struggling to find enough scottish players to put a team together) put a wee chip on the mans shoulder.
IMHO.

Barry has done the right thing as no player is bigger than the club. I think Neil is a good player but not as god as he clearly believes.
Regarding Craig I feel sorry for him, unfortunately for him as Barry says current half backs are doing wel and you do not change a winning format unless you have to.
Its up to current players to keep on form because if not players like Craig will nip in and take their spot I see thiis as positive and shows the depth of the squad.

A great player going forward but missing something in defence.
Barry has taken the right approach as team moral has to be put first.
Quite right, morale is a big factor in a team game such as rugby and this is a good move by the coach. I would just change your second sentence and add the words 'for 5 minutes', after 'a great player going forward'.

Barry Eaton, the Keighley Cougars Head Coach, has confirmed that the Co-operative Championship One club will allow Scotland World Cup forward Neil Lowe to leave the club.
Lowe was left out of the Cougars first team that played Blackpool Panthers in a league fixture on Sunday after turning down an opportunity to play for the reserve team against Whitehaven on Saturday.
Eaton said: “Neil didn’t leave us with any alternative after refusing to play for the reserves.
“No one is bigger than the club and we have a culture at the Cougars of everybody playing for each other.
“If any player is not prepared to go along with that then it’s better for all concerned if they find another club.
“We’re now willing to listen to offers for Neil.”
Eaton is also prepared to make halfback Craig Fawcett available for loan spells at other clubs.
He explained: “Craig is still very much part of my plans but, unfortunately, for him he’s stuck behind two halfbacks Danny Jones and Jon Presley, who are playing particularly well at the moment.
“When Craig didn’t get into the first team after the early rounds of the Northern Rail Cup we discussed the possibility of him being allowed to go on loan if he were to be offered an opportunity.
“Craig’s too good to be restricted to reserve grade rugby league and he needs to be playing at first team level more often than he is at the moment.
“But I have to stress that Craig is being made available only on a loan basis”.

There is one big plus from this.
Now is the time for another player, to make his claim for a first team place.
Its a brave coach, but none the less the best coaches who can make such a decision when faced with so many injuries. So big hats off to Barry, he is the man. The team will surely respond well to this.
Shame for Craig but what can you do. Knowing our luck, he will go on loan then the others will be injured. Good luck to him where he goes.

It said in the programme that barrow have released a player for exactly the same reason. Who do these players think they are, thinking they have the god given right to 1st team rugby. Neil Lowe has let his team-mates down badly by refusing to play in the reserves, and he has let the club down, in particular Helen, who was trying to help him find work when he got back from Australia. The perfect examples on how to be team players are Craig Fawcett, Lee Maples and Sam Gardner, who have all featured in the reserves this year.
