While not wanting to dismiss the Brough stuff out of hand...
Why would he want to leave Wakey? Why would Wakey let him go? He's key to their recent successes and they don't have a replacement of similar quality.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

I really hope we dont sign Robinson and I hope we wouldnt be interested in Brough either. Both are better than Thorman (I never thought Robinson was until I saw Thorman play for us) but we need a top 7, which Brough and Robinson are not. Signing players in this position who either arent good enough or injury prone is what has been our problem since Tony Smith retired through injury and just because both are better than what we have currently it doesnt mean we still wouldnt have a problem at halfback

Hull should have signed Dobson when they had the chance

Should have kept James Webster then. Could have signed a lot worse, in fact you did.
DANNY LOCKWOOD - LEAGUE WEEKLY (18-5-09)
I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.
