I thought we were pretty much rubbish. I wouldn't mind watching it back on the telly though. Then again, I might not bother.

I thought though our tries were well worked and we spread the ball nicely at times, The silly errors of the past few weeks were cut out. Even Thorman deserves praise on last nights showing. I`m no fan of the current regime running the Club. But when the players of Hull FC take to the field I will support them to my dying breath. Lets get behind the lads now and hopefully take some confidence from last night.

Its been mentioned. The fact of it is we should have only lost the Saints game this year if we had played to our potential in every game. Where would that leave us in the league?
Some people may accept mediocrity and allow our true potential to be masked by average performances and a scrappy win v Salford. I wont.
And starting to call people a crew because they have different opinions to you etc is a bit odd tbh!!

Y'see, this is what I find odd. I don't see anyone accepting mediocrity. Being happy that we won and seeing one or two improvements over recent weeks is not 'accepting mediocrity'. Just about everyone, whether positive or negative, accepts that we are a long way short of where we'd all like to be and where we should be if better decisions had been made over the last 5 seasons.

Exactly. I don't understand how "I refuse to accept mediocrity" can be translated into "I withdraw my support for the club". Everyone is disappointed with our performances on the pitch, and can, and do, complain about every aspect of the club on here ad infinitum. Fair enough, but how exactly will withdrawing support and staying away from games like yesterday's achieve anything? Kath Hetherington and the other members of the board will, I imagine, take interest on her loan to the club regardless of our profitability situation so imagining a small reduction in home gates will suddenly influence the board to get sack Agar and offer Kearney a deal compelling enough to drop everything and get on the next flight here just doesn't make sense.

sitting there with the black and white specks on thinking what a great display it was does nothing
we won today because Wilshare had such a nightmare, his knock ons and missed conversions won us the game...we aren't going to have that luxury every week.
And Rovers beat us because Hall had a bad game ..if players didn't make mistakes the sorce would be 0-0 every game .. It was an ugly win that gave us two points and hopefully we can kick on from now
