What time is the last bus on a Sunday from your town again Bill?

Believe it or not 5pm !!! And they have just cut the service back to 1 bus an hour during the day  Good job i got er indoors well trained to drop me off and pick me up so i can have a few pigs ears!!
All seems to work pretty well with the buses dropping off and picking up at Robina station.
A couple of times on a sunday it took me 3 hours to get from Hounslow to Charlton by train to watch the Broncos, thats nearl as long as going on an away trip up north !

ive done a bit of research on the sharks attendance last year and so far this year and i dont think the attendance picture is as bad as everyone thinks.
look at who theyve played so far:

Knights 11,148 more than 2008 (night)
Panthers 10617 less than 2008 (rain)
Raiders 8561 no home game in 2008 (night)
Cowboys 8547 more than 2008 but in adelaide (night)

none of the above are particularly big draws for the sharks and they've improved in two games. now look at the rivalry games they have still to play- wests, manly, dragons, eels? all of which they got around 18,000 in in 2008. they also have to play the broncos, rabbitohs and roosters who should be a reasonable draw, leaving the warriors as the only game left they should get a low crowd for (9000 in 2008). the schedulers havent been kind either with no sunday or saturday afternoon kickoffs so far.

this should all mean their average will be about the same as last year at about 13,500 or possibly higher. of course this is still poor compared to the bulldogs etc... but its not a disaster, although it does assume the bigger games will get around the same crowd as last year and their form picks up a bit

I obviously dont know the numbers, but i swear it looked and felt like it. There was a sea of red and white everywhere around the ground and even outside walking to the ground, there seemed way more Dragons fans than Roosters. Either way the ratio of home fans to away fans was very poor for the Roosters.... kinda sucked really.

winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11
