Wish I shared your optimism about the quality of our playing staff. I think our strength in depth has been shown to be totally lacking particularly in the backs. The international players unavailable would make a massive difference I'm sure.
Our players showed tonight with the correct coaching they can execute ok plays. Thorman for example when he put Whiting in for his try. If they practised it and were coached better im betting he may have put Whiting in for a 2nd late on rather than trying to miss him and hitting him in the chops. Poor options from Thorman look to me like they dont get worked on in training.
