Why do these shirts always look like a full 10 minutes was spent on their design?

I wuite like it, although it's a little too similar to the national soccer shirt.

Hated the previous one, looked very chavvy to me as it was similar to the old french connection rubbish.

I dont mind it although the training t-shirts look better value at £19.
