I don't see the point in all this anymore. After this last week and from things I hear I don't think either club will have a say.

I think there are now too many powerfull people who want the Stanley development to go ahead and for Cas and Wakey to share it that IMHO it simply will happen that way.

I just think RW is slowly exstracating himself from Glasshoughton until such point as he feels able to change tac.

I think it's worth noting that a number of journo's and commentators who have paid both Glasshoughton and Thornes only lip service through the years, now seem to be falling over themselves to take Stanley seriously! This is a project only announced last week with no plans or feasibility study, with the ground share element surfacing awfully quickly. You have to think that certain folk know things

Strange that they all seem to be Wakefield fans? Whereas Cas fans musings are nothing more than hearsay and gossip

I wouldn't bother reading this bit, there is nothing interesting, witty or insightful down here, just this collection of boring words explaining that you really are wasting your time browsing this signature in the vain and futile hope that there will be a nugget, nay, a veritable goldmine of witticisms or divine philosophy. In reality, all you're going to get is disappointment, a sense of hopelessness and a random word.

Have they?

(This is a serious question, just I haven't read anything about it, save for the YP and WE, both who reported on it much the same way they reported the announcement of Glasshoughton and Thornes Park)

Not all, but yes it's all hearsay and gossip that's journalism - however it's never mindless in there case and where there is smoke there is often a fire.

This isn't a crusade on my part, frankly I don't want to share - i'd like us both to get what we want. However sometimes you have to bend with the wind and accept the inevitable - can't put my finger on it exactly but this all has a touch of the inevitable.

No need to be defensive, it's just a feeling I certainly am not claiming to know RW may well pull a rabit out of the hat.

.....and therein lies the only truth, nothing more than a hunch, gut instinct, a feeling in your water. I prefer to wait for cold, hard facts, the chancer that I am.

Two articles

http://timesonline.typepad.com/rugby_le ... race-.html

and a SKY one from Stevo.

The times article takes the Stanley development as serious as the rest, something it took us years to do with Thornes. It also makes it very clear that Cas ans Wakey building two new Stadiums virtually next to each other is Crazy!

Stevo says more or less the same.

It's just two article in a week, but as I say considering the lack of substance currently available for the Stanley development people who should know a bit more than most appear at least to me to be taking it very seriously.

I'm prepared to wait as long as it takes for Richard Wright to 'pull a rabbit out of his hat'. I just don't see why, in the meantime, we should have to suffer you pulling statements out of your ar*e.

The amount of Wakefield fans coming on here wanting to share, seems to me like they are desperate for us to join in on this because they're worried their own plans will fall on its booty.
