No conspiracy theories Kosh. Just a complete lack of trust in our board. And what do you mean ' Moon landings' are you telling me man has been to the Moon. You'll be telling me someone shot John Lennon next. [/i]

Motto of the week -
It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.

If Readon is given a custodial sentence tomorrow how would the club react to having one of their players sent to prison. Maybe its me but i have no trust in our board at the moment. This story stinks of a cover up.
I would like to think the reason we have released Readon is that we are about to sign a world class fullback but then again its our board i am talking about.

Assuming all this isn't just some hoax, of course.
I was actualling asking how on earth you can say we wont sign Greg Bird due to alleged assaulting a women and it doesnt fit with the family image of the club and they he can about turn and sign Reardon for the same offence.
He could have said well actually im glad you brought up Stuart Reardon because we have some news to share on that.
I personally think he was gutless, and thought if we tell the fans while on air they would start ringing and kicking off at us, and I havent had time to think of what spin to put on it yet.
Or Rule thinks give it a couple of weeks and it will have all blown over so when he is next on nobody will challenge him on it.
If he gets a spell at her majesty's today the media will want to attach him to club and we've left ourselves wide open i'm afraid.

He didn't know that Reardon had failed the medical at the time you spoke to him.
