just being a bit more honest and open would have sufficed...as he would surely have been booked in for a medical for at least a few days if not ever since he signed...they didn't just randomly drive him to A+E for one.

simply saying 'he has to pass a medical' would have sufficed, and we wouldn't have been shocked if he'd have failed then...instead it was suggested he was just lacking match fitness.

its like with the whole friday night game thing, in the end the club have seemed to have made the right choice...but only HullFC would cause a fuss by changing their minds after passes went on sale, everything they do is complicated.

I did think fleetingly that it was a bit strange that he'd had all these tests at Hull Royal, as normally serious injuries are assessed in Wrexham. Or did I imagine the Hull Royal bit? :?

I think it's more a sign of not fully understanding the fans feelings rather than being deliberate misleading. He just answered the question he was asked and it probably never occurred to him to expand on the larger issue.

TBH the whole program was a waste of time. Nothing new was said and it was mainly the same old platitudes. The only mildly entertaining bit was his obvious anger at the visa fiasco.
