Personally....think they have done right.
Then do that before you release information that you have signed him.
Our club is a absolute laughing stock. not only do we not go out and get a recognised top quality number 7. Not had one since 1991 {Greg Mackey} We then supposidly sign a player who has not played for 8 months without first doing a medical. Then 2 weeks later release him.
The management of the club needs to decide if they are up to the job and if not ship out and get people in who can manage.
Our so called chief exc would much rather go on tour {to Ireland} with a rugby union team then do his paid job.
This incompertance has to stop or we have no chance of beening anything other then also rans in the competion.

Just a couple of points amongst all the hysteria.
Reardon's contract was contingent upon two conditions...
1. His full recovery from his achilles injury
2. Getting a non-custodial sentence
Clearly, he's failed on the first condition. I doubt he'll have been paid, because until he met the first condition he didn't have an actual contract with us - hence how he can be released swiftly and easily now.
Carry on.

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

You named him in a 19 man squad so he has to be contracted and registered with the RFL for that to happen

It's hard to keep that kind of information quiet, and if they'd tried and failed it would have been blamed on his criminal record rather than medical grounds.
At least they had the sense to make the contract dependent on his fitness this time. One step at a time...
