To be fair, they (now) have a decent fanbase, wealthy backer, super stadium, top coach and a competitive side. Got as much going for them and in many cases more, than most teams in SL.

Win or lose this weekend it doesn't matter. This club is a club on the up with a developing team playing an expansive brand of rugby with a mean defence and with crowds that are rising significantly home and away whilst those of several others dwindle. And what happens? The same old sh*te gets spouted!

I can't help it if one or two of our guys get a bit ahead of themselves but why shouldn't they. Plenty of otrher speccies of other clubs have absolutely no problem doing that and no one seems too fussed about that. And besides, this is our spot to post and if a Huddersfield fan wants to get a bit ahead of themselves on their own site then why the hell shoudn't they?

To date this season our results are good, our away crowd figures have been well up and our home crowds average 9,231 after having got Quins and Celtic out of the way. I think that so far there is plenty to be optimistic about so the opposition are going to have to forgive a bit of overoptimism from time to time. Besides, we're not at Hull KR blind insane optimism levels...

I don't disagree with your complaints about people posting crap about us but I would suggest that if we want to rise above it then we don't post the same crap back. In fact, I'm quite happy for people to keep thinking we are the Giants of 10 years ago so that we can keep surprising them.

Success and a decent following is long overdue for the town where Rugby League was created. Glad to see it finally happen. As for the 'cheating' tag, most coaches get their players to push as far as they can in tackling, grappling, holding down etc but trying to keep just onside with the referee's tolerance level. This season Hudds seem to have got that about right in most games. What you did get away with a great deal on Saturday against Leeds was not standing square - but, once again, if the ref doesn't ping the players for it early on, they'll keep doing it.

westwood is also a danger player for wire.

hope the giants can win and carry on our amazing away winning run!

I wouldn't call it a winning 'run' since you got beat last week by Leeds

In Football, the fans fight the fans !
In Union, the fans fight the players !
In League, the players fight the players !

Oh, and don't forget, it all depends which way your facing...

or have you heard some other silly billy supporters saying it and decided you were gonna be like them too ?? :?

I joined the band wagon. If we lose there is no point in blaming our team if we can get away with acusing the opposion of cheating

you have a hometown ref i think we have our excuses handed on a plate

tbh i think it will be a close game but giants just scraping it,despite constant howling from the wolves for "their" referee to penalise us and let them do their thing 8)
seriously, giants by 10 after a bit of a tight contest and a battle in the forwards
