Eric Cantona Leeds - Man U

Leeds were champions mostly due to his exploits so why sell him to your main rivals???

He could actually play - that would not do with Wilkinson so he had to go - the rumour he was seeing Lesley Ash might have had something to do with it :D

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

The rumour about him seeing Steve Hodge was far more entertaining!

(The answer is probably Clinton O'Brien from that vintage....)

 Correct, Seers was poor considering his reputation. However Korki got a legendary reputation by being massively average on occasions. TBF on Korki he never arrived with a reputation so in his own way achieved more than we could have expected.

Korki appeared in David Hinchcliffes MP all time Trinity greats, this from a giy old enough to remember the 1960's. This muppet helped run the country and is now a big player in our stadium project

David Hosking in the early 90's. I don't think he ever broke a tackle.

Ryan Benjafield at Hull?

If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.

Problem was he thought he was too good to play for the Skolars where his dad was a part of the set-up but in reality he would have been a pretty dangerous player for them!

Think Mal Reilly as coach was one of our worst signings but luckily we had the balls to release him, never watched a more boring brand of RL!!

Current Hull FC team?

A bloke called Lyndsey Johnson, had a birds name and tackled like one as well.

Sadly I wasn't around for the 60s, but I could have guessed anyone in a team which, you know, actually won trophies, was probably a better player than one in a team which finished a place away from relegationa few times....
