winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11
As others have said, the nearer the fight gets the more confident I am getting. The Manny camp seem to be getting slightly nervous with all the talking they're doing.
Hatton'll need to be disciplined but if he can work his way through, Pacqiouo hasn't been tested by anyone with the punching power of Hatton. If Ricky can get the body shots going, I think he'll win.

Don't know what to make of Haye with the severed heads of the Klitschko brothers. I understand he's done it to get a reaction, but I agree with Wladimir that it isn't a great example to be setting.
That said, I hope Haye wins. Always been a fan of his and I agree the Klitschkos aren't entertaining in the slightest. However, I think Haye underestimates the punching power of Wladimir. I don't think Haye's chin has ever really been tested (in fact I seem to recall him being pretty shook up a couple of fights back), but if Wladimir gets him, it may all be over.
If Haye can hit and move and get the jab working then he'll ease his way to a points win, what he doesn't want to do is slug it out in the middle of the ring.
hatton is looking very good in the 24/7 series...snr seems to have found some speed from hatton out of somewhere???? i guess thats down to the touch-tapping pad work they've been doing?

Carl Thompson, back when Haye was still fighting at cruiser? Albeit Thompson was a big cruiserweight.

Pretty certain it was at cruiser. From memory, Haye's only fought twice at heavyweight, the win over Barrett and another one in the fight before he fought Enzo.

What are people's verdicts on Haye the man? Is it just me who would love to see him get scattered? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a British heavyweight champion again and I think he has finally shook up the Heavyweight divison out of the doldrums......but he is a big of a pr*ck if you ask me.
I've fancied Hatton to beat Pacman since the fight was made. Pacman was made to look good against an over the hill De La Hoya and I'm not sure he will ever have faced the power which Hatton will bring. It will be an absolute classic either way.

I think he's brilliant to be honest. Controversial character, but backs it up in the ring with exciting performances. He's livened up a dead division.
