I know he's the ultmate soccer pansy but the Milan coach thinks he's in such good physcial condition that he could carry on playing top flight footie until he's 40.
In power and strength obviously rugby is going to score high but any endurance type events are probably not going to see any special results.
I knew that I was pretty fit back in my playing days... didn't realise just how fit till reading those...
That said, I'm a wreck now, knees are shot, everything else is not far behind... actually a lot of people I know from my playing days are pretty shot now! Who says sport is good for you lol

“The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.”
“If you can accept losing, you can't win.”
“Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.”
Slater's not the fittest man in RL he was a player chosen to represent RL in the TV show and competed against other sportsmen from other sports. There would probably be NRL players who could beat him.
Not sure who the fittest player in the NRL is these days, when Mark McLinden played league he would have been a good shout.
Would be interesting to see if its actually the forwards who dominated fitness challenges. They would be able to win strength tests but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the 80 minute brigade (Peacock, Hindmarsh) were aerobically fitter than the outside backs as well.
