I don't think Josh Vievers is just a good kicker though, he is an awesome player. The way he directs the players around the pitch is heartwarming (although the dynamics of the group in first team would probably thwart that shouting) he is solid under the ball, makes some cracking runs and also tackles well and runs his blood to water during a match.

Bilko, are there any stats for him from kicks; have witnessed quite a few touchline conversions in reserves from him

Before next weeks game have to decide first of all if Richards is 100% fit to kick.

At the same time, Roberts should put in a full weeks practice himself and take every kick should Pat not be 100%.

Simple. One or the other.

Not sure of the Stats but recall that he did not kick well.

I agree, he missed some sitters in the WC and has never really got it back together again.

Interesting we switched to Amos yesterday so Pat can't be fit at the moment. Doesn't matter as much in games like yesterday, but in tight games goals are vital so fingers crossed Pat & Amos (it's like Emmerdale isn't it?) find their kicking boots.

He has publically stated he doesnt like kicking and he was never great. We do have a young lad Jamie Foster who is supposed to be pretty good so the situation may improve for us soon

Our goalkicking was great when Wigan was nothing but five drives and a kick therefore the tries were scored mainly down the middle.
This season we've been playing more expansive Rugby and scoring out wide. Now the kicking isn't as consistent.

Heard that Foster is a great kicker at Stains but doubts on his ability to make the first team.

Is there any word on Pat?

Definitely looked as if he wasn't 100% yesterday so God knows why Noble made him play the full 80 minutes.

'Do you remember when we had that meeting in Orlando? We talked about how we were knocked out the previous year by Leeds. And at the end, I asked you one question. "Do you want to be a semi-final team? Or do you want to do something special?" You all said you wanted to win. But talking is easy – it needed you to believe. It needed you to work hard – harder than you had – and make sacrifices. You did all that. you worked for each other. You stuck together when it was tough. And because of your efforts, you sit here tonight as champions. I'm proud of you. Be proud of yourselves. You've done something special.'

Shaun Wane's post-Grand Final speech. 5th October 2013.

Its between Richards and Roberts - bascially the best kicker out of the two will get in the team - there isnt room for both if Phelps is fb and ainscough is on the wing. If Richards gives up his kicking is his place in the team under threat?
