Dont think you can criticise goulding to much seen as he did play out off position. was not a great performance but i think we can beat hull next week seen as they are on such a bad run of form. and my dad nearly got killed by a catalans fan in a toilet.

I watched the highlights on the Super League Show and you couldn't really see as they only showed one angle. There were two in the tackle as he went over the line and the ball came loose. It could have been avoided though if our players hadn't just stopped and watched the ball - I think it was Adamson who realised that it hadn't been blown dead and ran to try and ground it but he was a split second second too late.
Finally back, (well I say finally probably rather still be there) We started well early on, but they are a very good side, huge pack then take into account they have alot of pace in the side and Bosc pulling the strings they are very difficult to play against. I feel playing 4 very tough games in 13 days probably had something to do with it, we have had a tough Easter and we felt the impact on Saturday, I am not complaining though, everyone else had the same problem. No one really stood out on Saturday 'reasonable' performance by most, poor by a couple. But it's difficult to point the blame onto individuals, having to fly out there and play 4 days after beating Leeds at Headingley, the fatigue was evdient on the players faces in the airport last night. Have to just forget that game now, try and prepare as best we can for Hull on Saturday. Anyway, we don't need to win again this year, We won at Leeds!

I think that about sums it up. To be honest I didn't think we played that poorly but more down to the fact that the Dragons controlled the ball better which meant we couldn't get any decent possession of field position. Our kicking game, which has been great at times this year, just wasn't there and as has been said we looked more than a little weary.
The heat won't have helped, after the forecasters told us it would be overcast and wet on Saturday nothing could have been further from the truth , believe me it was very, very hot on game day, having said that it did pi55 down for most of Friday.
Not looking for excuses as I said I think we did ok in large parts of the game, but the lads only arrived at the hotel on Friday evening so they didn't get much time to adjust or train, no fault of the club BTW, they were just delayed.

When the fixture list came out I looked at the Easter schedule and noticed Catalan away straight after Leeds away on the Monday and thought then how kind of the Rugby League to give us them two five days apart, plus Catalan getting two home games on the trot, no doubt because they played on the Monday and the League would have felt it unfair for them to have to travel.

Second half we were not in the game at all.
The try just before half time really did knock the stuffing out of the players, total cock up.
Why oh why does our great coach put a centre and a stand off on the wings
Still good time had by all apart from the pound/Euro rate meaning a 40% rise in costs.
Bad news was United also losing (I did a one man Boycott as I do not agree to the semi being at Wembley)

Just got back from a cracking away trip, as for the game I honestly don't think we were that bad, we defened our B*llocks off, just some stupid errors let catalan through for example not kicking the ball dead twice, once when goulding missed it and once when Adamson should have just put the ball out even though everyone thought there was a knock in the build up you still to play to the whistle. The problem in the second half was we didn't have any of the ball, I can hardly remember us getting in the Catalan half of field, all in all i'm not to disheartened the lads played with a lot of effort which is all we can ask for.
Looking forward to Saturday now, Hull will be out for revange so we will need to be at the top of our game.

Could be worse, our lads flew back on Sunday afternoon and have got a game on Thursday night!
