winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

Oh okay fredie you hypocrite (slagging off others for insulting)
On rugby league:
Nobody is interested in changing our system (Superleague, Northern Rail Cup, Carnegie Cup, Grand Final and The Magic weekend) to shoehorn in some Aussie knackers.
You'd swear you were world champions or something.
Britain is Britain. Oz is Oz. We are neither going to change our season, nor have ourselves lobotomised to be more like you lot.
Go away, Throw another shrimp on the barbie, beat up your Sheila and come back when you have something adult to contribute to the board.

speaking of diversions, smokescreens and insults to show the losing of an argument. where are my loving statistics? 80% still waiting for quantified proof yet you went off on a tangent about nfl and afl. i never recall afl being played at wembley i was played at lords if memory serves correctly and it didn't sell out.
don't bother with wife bashing and barbie if you got nothing constructive or useful to say go play in the traffic

the reason war of the roses isn't done at wembley is people who aint from lancs/yorks don't give a toss about it. same with SOO not all league fans are in the north you know. and why would the northerners all travel to wembley for another game they come for the challange cup.
