The Spurs game was huge for you. If you'd have lost that then you'd have been right in there but have a decent run-in that should see you safe.

We need either RSC or Roberts to come back before the end of the season as Benni doesn't look up for the fight.A few weeks ago I posted Newcastle would stay up and looking at your home games that should be 9 points that would be enough as I can't see Hull getting too much from what they've got left .

They are winnable, but we've got to actually do it. I think ten points would definitely see us stay up, nine should do but there's a possibility that seven could even be enough. Fingers crossed we can get the much needed three points on Monday. If we don't, it doesn't look good at all.

Newcastle United are 4/7 to get relegated from the Barclays Premier League after they lost 1-0 at Spurs. The bookies don't often get it wrong, especially not at 4/7.

We're four points from safety; we're rightly odds on.

Like Ash said, the three home games are simply huge. Portsmouth is do or die. The problem is, we were phenomenally poop today for most of the match. Only with Oba and Smith did we look like doing anything. My hatred for Nicky Butt has only increased
If we beat Portsmouth at home and find a bit of form we'll stay up. We'll be relying on Hulls appalling form to keep us up. But I'm far from optimistic

I'm not usually the sympathetic type, but I don't want Newcastle to go down. They play some alright stuff, have a great ground, large fanbase and they are, or at least were, quite an ambitious side.
I want them to stay up, I know loads moan about their fans being deluded, but I dunno, it'd be crap if they went down and someone like Stoke stayed up.
