It does and it doesn't.
Phelps went backwards from his performance in the Saints game. He was at fault for the first try and never looked comfortable at fullback. I think Roberts had to switch with him. Some nice link up plays in attack but is too suspect in defence for my liking.
Big improvement from Tim Smith. He seemed to have more idea what he was doing in attack and made some decent tackles in defence. His defence is still an issue and Celtic exploited it on the odd occasion. It makes me think that against a better side he will just get caught out too many times to have him the side.
Andy Coley continued to look very good today as did Paul Prescott. I was very impressed with Prescott he seems to have added an offload to his game.
Stuart Fielden was poor again.
Martin Gleeson showed some good touches and seems to better organise our defence. Starting to see more and more from him as the weeks go on.
