Twice he gave knock ons for us when only a metre from the Leeds line, and they were plainly stripped. I dont belive Hodgson`s try should have been denied for a forward pass, having rewound and looked twice, according to the field lines it was ok. Also when Brown was looking to get the ball out when we were about 5 metres out, he did pass it back and it was knocked down by a Leeds player and we went on to touchdown and that was wiped off. Also Leeds last try Peacock (only slightly) knocked the ball forward and was gathered by Leeds in an offside position, the try stood. And a knock on by Moore near the end when we were on the Leeds line, well Mcguire was practically at the side of the Huddersfield player who was playing the ball, infact most of the Leeds players were not behind the line, but no penalty was forthcoming.
All told I think Leeds deserved the win, but the score should have been a lot closer, and with a fair crack of the 50-50s and a fair bounce of the ball we could have been in with a shout. Leeds defence was really good, but ours was quite good as well, just ended up as not our night on the night.
As a neutral I have to agree with all of the above post, plus Leeds attempted and suceeded on stripping the ball on numerous occasions, like when Mcguire lost the ball the stripped it the very next play, and what about Hudds player penalised for not playing the ball when Buderus had him tackled and bent in two, I think the strange video ref decisions by Alibert and the inept reffing by Silverwood has put a lot of pressure on Cummings to sort this out, if not the game risks becoming the laughing stock of sport.

Success consists of getting up just one more time than you've fallen down.
It must be really difficult for the Huddersfield fans on here tonight knowing that they can't quite say what they want about Silverwood because that would make them a hypocrite after last week.

going by the south stand ast night i would be concerned about your own support first, shocking support from leeds last night
anyway back on topic, we were poor (as we always are in front of sky camera's) leeds didnt do anything special, just did the basics right and for once our defence had great big holes in it which leeds capitalised on.
however i dont think we were as bad as the score suggests were we?
as for the ref, well most ppl know where silverwoods allegiances lie but he didnt cost us the game, apart from letting a few forward passes go( for both sides) and a couple of 50/50 calls went leeds' way however i think we are more gracious than some fans and the coach from a certain east coast club.
lets put it behind us now congratulate leeds on what must have seemed like an easy win for them and go and take it out on the wire.

Brett never touched whoever it was on our touchline, but he judged that the Leeds player involved was elbowed and there was zero contact. If we are entitled to opinions on here, then mine is that Silverwood was very biased. Not because we lost, but because he was. Play the game back on your sky+/Virgin+ whatever and tell me we weren't given the mucky end of the stick...... See ya tomorrow guys.
we were i agreee reidy but it didnt affect the outcome of the game IMO our poor handling and decision making cost us the game and leeds' ability to turn possesion into points

Had your players not continually stood off-side, not thrown forward passes and not grapple tackled all season I might have had some sympathy with the 50:50 decisions that Leeds always seem to receive.
Still a dose of your own medicine this evening will hopefully have took you down a peg or two especially as Shudds, in your eyes, don't need the ref on their side to win.
Moan and groan all you like, I will not bother reading your feeble attempts to justify the reasons for your performance tonight. All I'll say is what goes around, comes around.
TTFN
So your saying that when you guys are at home no one on that south stand starts booing and mouthing off at the ref?
Baby due on the 22/04/2011 cant wait to be a mum :) x
no moans from me - there were a few calls that went against us but - take note Mr Morgan and Hull KR - but that happens every game you watch, The Referee didnt change the outcome of this game - we lost fair and square to the current champions who took their chances while we fluffed ours.
TBH i dont know what kind of reaction the KR trolls are expecting to get on here?

Read my post again, slowly.
As for moving on, I did that half hour after you beat us last week when I posted Huddersfield deserved the win, nothing to do with the ref.
