It happened right in front of me, he was arguing with Karleigh Osbourne after a corner had been cleared, it had shades of was it Stoke earlier this season? Next thing we know they've both got hold of each other's throats. Linesman told the referee and he sent Powell off and yellow carded Osbourne. We were already a goal up at this point and Bournemouth were on top, it was quite simply the most moronic thing I've ever seen.

Doesn't sound clever but it looks like the title is yours now anyway. IIRC Osbourne is a big fella as well isn't he?

He is tall, but he's also utterly useless. I have no idea why he keeps a place in the team, whenever I've seen him he's looked awful - dreadful first touch, always giving the ball away. Went on loan to Oxford United IIRC earlier in the season and thats where he should have stayed!

Sounds familiar. We've got 5 or 6 players who fit that description in our first team!

Our manager has done it himself. Took on Andy Myers and lost!
I'm hoping for a quick kill this weekend at Daggers before the talk of Wembley gets too serious. It's highly likely that Leeds will be down Wembley so the Bradford Youth (don't laugh, that's what they refer to themselves as) will be getting tiny hard-ons and threatening what they're going to do to the Service Crew and all that b0ll0x. It's amazing how unintimidating 20 spotty herberts can be. I remember them tailing 2 Exeter fans up Midland Road and the Exeter lads were pishing themselves laughing. Then the cops took the pish out of them as well.

Hopefully McCall will stick to his word and resign. He will always be a legend at the club but it's become increasingly clear throughout his time as manager that he isn't upto the job. My ideal choice to replace him would be Dave Penney who has proven that he can get a team out of this dvision and he would have repeated that with Darlington if not for circumstances beyond his control in the last two seasons .

Yeah I think Penney would be a good choice if possible, my heart says McCall should stay and I want him to be a successful manager for us but my head says he can't do it and he has to go.

My worry is a lot of this seasons wasters are getting on a bit and have 2 year deals, so we are stuck with them, if we are getting a new manager it has to be the right appointment because, if we can achieve promotion next term the last 2 years won't have been wasted because McCall, and the season ticket offers, have shaken off some of the apathy surrounding the club and got the fans turning out in force again, we've got 9000+, but that won't last unless we get out of this division before too long.

There's no cash to replace any of the wasters currently clogging up the first team squad anyway Asim. Whoever comes in will be fighting with one arm tied behind his back, and crowds much smaller next season as I can't see the season ticket offer being repeated unless the club want to go into admin again.

Sadly I get the feeling we may be stuck at this level of some time unless we can persuade someone like Man Utd to lend us a cartload of their best kids for the experience.
