Okay, a small percentage of their fans behaved like absolute pigs after that second Grand Final when they beat us (that bunch on the tram had 'glory-hunting, part time scum' written all over them), but that's not generally the rule with Bradford fans. Plus it was good to see a traditional old name well up there, and to see someone in West Yorkshire finally rocking the Leeds boat.
Sadly, I think the rumours about their financial weaknesses are probably true. I've no love for Macnamara after he tried to stick it to us over the 'Terry Newton affair', but again, he isn't really part of the Bradford furniture (isn't he a Hull man by origin?). I enjoyed the Bullmania business - they were the first club to really challenge Wigan during our period of dominance (Leeds and Saints got in on the act later, after we'd catastrophically weakened), so I'm hoping they aren't on a terminal downturn. They don't deserve to be.

I left that game at half time because 50 or so Wigan 'fans' decided they wanted to knock lumps out of each other.
I hope things get sorted out at Bradford but in a sense I'm pleased some of the people who only went for the razzmattaz are no longer going, I used to hate going they weren't proper fans and it was obvious this would happen. I hope someone rich can sort things out and attract fans who are interested in the game

To be honest I've never had an issue with Bradford. Even with the ridiculous Bullmania hype I could never really hate them.
Maybe its the special place - dilapidated though it is - that Odsal remains, due to its history; its second only to CP. But unlike CP its still here.
There are hardly any big, traditional RL grounds left. Headingley has never to me really felt like a true RL ground because of the cricket ground, KR is too small.
The similarities with Wigan towards the end of the CP era must be worrying for Bradford. Like Wigan at that stage, the massive overspend on trying to improve an old ground has given them serious financial problems just as performances and crowds have dipped (very alarmingly in Bradford's case).

I feel sorry for the true Bradford fans who are as loyal as any fan, however I cant help but feel some satisfaction about Bradford at the moment based purely off the antics of some of the smug glory hunting fans that they attracted at the height of their powers.

Just to add, i'm not sure if the collapse is running through the club from top to bottom but the Bulls couldn't even field a reserve team last night and the game had to be cancelled...
