Any team who loses by 58 has been poor. Any team who wins by 36 away from home has been very good.
I know it is difficult for a Saints fan to look past their own team, but give it a go gateaux.
If that was Saints tonight, people would be saying that they knocked them off the park and were awesome, making Bradford poor. Because it was Warrington, Bradford must have been poor (ignoring the fact that this team beat Leeds 8 days ago).
Saints play Bradford at home next Friday also on Sky so lets see what happens there.
Saints will put 80 odd past Bradford if they play like they did tonight.

But they wont.
And if they do, we'll all jizz our pants. We won't focus on how poo Bradford are.

And if that happens, everyone will be jacking themselves off saying Saints are a shoe in for the Grand Final, it was a fantastic performance etc etc etc.
People will expect something like that from Saints, so when it happens, they can say it was a pleasure to watch. They ripped Bradford apart, etc etc. World Class performance, yadda yadda.
No-one, and I mean no-one expected us to hit 58 past Bradford, so when we do, surprise surprise, it was because they were utter utter gash and we would have been loved by a "better" team tonight if we'd have played like we did tonight.
The mentality of the typical RL fan..........it's faaaaaantastic.

Did anyone else notice something after Briers scored his try?
As he was walking back several players congratulated him, King gave him a hug, etc. Then Louis Anderson appeared and Briers' head dropped like a naughty child and his smile vanished. Anderson just walked across the front of him and blanked him.
If I've got that completely wrong and maybe Anderson had already congratulated him or something then fair enough, but it seemed to hint at some of the issues we hear about at Wire.

hmm I agree with some posters, we weren't scintillating.
It alarms me how easily the 4 tries were scored and the last 20 minutes I honestly think we went half to sleep, poor all round but what you can't take away is how well Warrington played tactically.
We kicked pretty much on the 4th every time, constantly turning that weakened Bradford pack around early, our forwards were immense and the kicking game was top notch. Add to that in the first half I think we conceeded about 1 penalty and dropped it only twice, attacking their weaknesses to great effect.
Our backs didn't look half bad either.
