Does this mean you will bring even more fans than you normally do?

A newer ground with better facilities is always likely to attract extra fans, especially families.

Ease of access will attract more away supporters as well, looks good for Wakefield

thought it was there - used to live close by and cycled round that way a fair bit

hopefully we will bring a good following - for some reason we always seem to bring more to cas than wakey - one reason may be the shelter offered by the stands at cas whereas at belle vue you are on open terracing

Sounds great to me. Any new build stadium is a move in the right direction and great for the club, the supporters and the community and of course the possibility of a better licence from the RL when the franchises are up for renewal. I'd also like to see the stadium management (whoever that maybe) to name a stand ' THE DAVID TOPLISS STAND'. Marvelous.

The Mighty Hull FC, Carlsberg don't do rugby league clubs....but if they did..........

STILL HULL'S No1 RUGBY LEAGUE TEAM

We don't worry about standee, he hates Wakey and never misses an opportunity to slate us for something.

Cheers guys (and gals!)

Thats what i would expect from this lot, a bit ruff around the edges  but true RL fans

Great news for Wakefield

I like going to Belle Vue, probably because of the following we take, and I like the sense of history I get from the old grounds, but it's not exactly family friendly and lacks facilities.

The recent past has proven that new stadiums really improve a club, particularly the fanbase, take ourselves for example and Hudds/Wire to a lesser extent.

Let's hope it comes off.

ps: Any pics/artist's impressions knocking about?

No! on second thoughts I think you're right!

When the RFL said 12,000 minimum they obviously meant 20,000.

Wakefield should hang their heads in shame for trying to pull a fast one by building a stadium that only meets the criteria and does'nt go well beyond it..

If we do then 12k might be too small

But seriously hope it gets the good ahead. Great club Wakefield and deserve some good news for a change.

Everything sounds about right for me.

Well done Wakey, after tonight you deserve the greatest stadium in the sport.

You have player unity

You have a board that care about fans and know they exist

you are a CLUB
