Some were complaining about the Leeds game, and teh club reducing tickets down to £10.
But my favourite was a woman who rang up to ask Mick why the beer was so expensive in Perpignan. I knew our club was powerful but didnt realise we controlled the beer price
Oh Dear, that bloke needs the patience of a saint.
If there was no marketing people would moan, it's about time we tried to improve our crowds properly.
Got sent two through the post yesterday.
It is a good effort by the club but at the moment even the celtic game is a big one, and i don't think i've been less enthusiastic about any game ,no offense meant to celtic .
The magic weekend is still a painful and expensive memory from last year; i think this years magic will have a far greater effect on the future attendance than any game promotion from the club .
Any hooo the sticker will probably end up in the back of my works vehicle and ill no doubt be sat silently through the celtic game wondering if i should get anther pint and listening to the happy clappers .

Can't see why it the "Big One". Your at opposite ends of the table, if it was Warrington or some other lowly team around the bottom of the table then it would be a "Big One".

All this was planned before the start of the season they don't just come up with the idea overnight

The point of the thread is that our marketing team and Mick Hogan are being let down by on field performances. We can plough as much money in marketing as we want, but unless the on the field results improve, it could lose us alot of money and support in so many ways.
These pre-meditated marketing ideas would work had we met expectations, but we're not and something has to be done about it.

Agreed, but how can you plan your marketing year out if you waiting for performances to turn around? You have to plan months in advance for everything, look at the kit as an example.

I meant we have to do something about the on field performances, not marketing.
The marketing is best in Super League and one of the best things about Wigan Rugby League.
