Unfortunately that might be the final nail in the coffin of his career with City. Been a great servant but has become too error prone. A good effort and to be honest I'm hoping that City dont qualify for the Europa Cup next year. It just places too big a burden on the team for no great reward. And I cant believe that being in the Europa cup will entice players to City.
I'll say one thing that city deserve a huge amount of credit for - at least they took the damn thing seriously. The likes of Spurs, Portsmouth and Villa have been an absolute disgrace in the UEFA cup this season, essentially deciding they couldn't be bothered to play in it after a certain point.
It baffles me how clubs (players and managers) bang on and on about how Europe is a target and how much it would mean to them only to throw the towel in when they decide they can't be arsed. city played 18 games in that competition and gave it all to try and win it, which is more than can be send for the rest of the English teams.

Aye, I'm made up Villa and their fidgety imp manager won't make 4th this season. Feel a bit sorry for the fans though and it's about time clubs realised that most fans would relish a UEFA Cup final more than qualifying for the qualifying rounds of the Champions League.
It's all right them saying it's about the money in the Champions League because they aint gonna get any of that anyway.

Spot on is that. For me, teams like Spurs, Portsmouth & Villa have no ambition. None at all. If they did they'd have taken the UEFA cup seriously. Like LFC said. They get knocked out of the UEFA cup and don't seem bothered because they want to consentrate on qualifiying for next seasons! Haha. Crazy.
