How ironic.....sportstalk tonight divulged HUDDESRFIELD had put in an official complaint and asked for BEN THALER to be disciplined by the RFL following a game against Wire in 2007.

Was this the same Thaler who Huddesrfield have been defending on this and their own board over the last few days

correct, it was the game at MM where he called held and then awarded the try .......BUT, our coach didnt publicly abuse him and our fans didnt carry it on in the way you lot have.

i'm sure every club has had issues with most ref's at some point.

AFAIK Thaler or someone from the RFL did issue a statement saying it was the wrong decision and it was left at that.
what our club did was take the official line and did it in a dignified complaint , we didnt stamp our feet and shout and bawl and cry about it
