TBF I think it shows not only ambition but is also realistic. I am sure if they did ever feel the need to increase capacity they would have that designed into the existing plans so it is not a major expence or problem for the future. Have to say I do enjoy my trip to Wakey even though Belle Vue aint one of the best but it is certianly not one of the worst.
Good luck to Wakey I hope it comes off for them.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

But hey, no hard feelings..........am in a good mood today! Have a lovely evening.
I have no gripe against Wakey mate, just vastman!!!
And how does one go about having a lovely evening when you live in Mansfield????
My point on the VT was wether this is what the RL had in mind, as others have said, if there is the possibility to extend (and the club can afford to) then it's probably a good move.
One thing that would concern me is who owns the ground etc. We get various idiots questioning our tenure at the KC but we know the Council would never evict us (or be able to), it readsto me like yours is a private equity ground, I may well be wrong.

12k new stadium is a far cry away from the 11k belle vue site and very much within an honest guesstimate of what we will need. thankfully most hull fc / rugby fans in general can see this as a positive sensible project.

Yup, that's how I see it also.
It will likely be able to be extended if required in the future as well.
Good news for Wakey, and a welcome poke in the eye for those sad souls who have spent the past few months gloating over the collapse of the last project and predicting their exit from SL as a result.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One
