I was in perpignan on monday for the game as where alot of other wigan fans, it was disgusting to see and hear the WIGAN fans giving so much abuse and singing a disgusting song to the players, 3 days after a really tough derby game and travelling over to france, thats the best the wigan fans could come up with totally embarrasing
If I'd paid money to go over there to watch a game of rugby and got that load of rubbish then I think I'd give them some stick too. What was the song? Couldn't hear anything bad on the TV I don't think.

To be fair Stu, I didn't hear much booing let alone anti-Wigan songs?
we wonder why players dont have confidence, they got behind the sticks and a select amount of fans just screamed that at them, if your a fan you stick with your team through thick and thin and get behind the boys instead of singing that, it was cringeworthy
Al you must of heard that song it was right at the side of where you was sat

yeah but they were - That on monday was a sing a long with the sound of music compared with cardiff and the home game last year.
not as cringeworthy as fans singing were by far the greatest team - that song should be stopped due to the fraudulance of it!!!!!!!

It is a hard pill to swallow but unbelievably true.

First time on here I heard it and was disgusted. If you cannot get behind your team through good and bad my answer to that is do not go. I agee entirely with what you say

ah so you are another one settling for mediocrity!!!!
typically stinky attitude - we dont go for the fun of it - being a fan is not fun we go regardless but that does not mean we have to bleat on about being the greatest club in the world.
the fans who went to france do get behind the team thats why they spend hundreds and hundreds of pounds a year but most of us are also not completely stupid and see the club dying on the pitch so should we just stand there like a bunch of idiots cheering and clapping 80 minutes of shizzle. And no I didnt sing the song about being sick of it because i was too busy being severely pee'd off and sat with head in hands!

It would appear that travelling hundreds of miles and spending hundreds of pounds is still not enough to make you a category 1 fan. It must be accompanied by mindless support also!
