This has to be Everton's best chance against Nited in quite some time - Everton are playing well and scoring goals (though Jo wont play), Nited are on the back of a hard game in Portugal and not on top form themselves...should be one heck of a game on Sunday

For Liverpool's penalty last night Alonso was fouled by Ivanovic off the ball, but ahead of them the ball had gone through to Skyrtyl, who shot over from 6 yards out with only the keeper to beat.
I don't think the ref blew up until after the shot was missed by Skyrtl. I think that in practically every other game I've seen the refs would have awarded a goal kick because Liverpool had had the advantage and blown it themselves. So how come Liverpool get to have the shot and when they miss have the penalty?
The same thing happened surrounding Liverpool's "ghost goal". The ref said if he hadn't awarded the goal then he'd have sent Cech off and given the penalty. No one else plays these types of advantages - in last seasons CL final Ferdinand managed to catch Joe Cole in the head with his thigh, Cole played on, skewed his shot wide and the ref gave the goal kick.
F*cking hell, are you sure you aren't really an Evertonian?
I'm not Jesus Christ, I've come to accept that now.

The only shaky bit will be Everton letting a comfortable lead slip last week. Look how letting in goals dented United's confidence.
Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.
