Anybody know why the kick-off was at 8pm on the last day of the first bank holiday weekend.

Clashed with a Rovers home game initially (3pm).

Moved first to 7pm and latterly to 8pm to allow for the ground to clear after the football and the pitch to be made ready for a RL fixture (lines re-painted, posts changed etc).

To be honest there looked more than 831 and i would have thought at least 350-400 from Widnes.

so what was donnys line up please

I would say widnes where poor to be honest.I wont go halifax as think they much better than widnes.They have recruited badly.

I thought second half our lads did well.We always seem to lately,late in the game.We cant afford to let Fax though build up an early lead like they did at Haven last week though.While im not expecting us to get anything at Fax I would still like us to be in the game somewhat at half time rather than Fax being out of sight.

I know as well there were a few fans encoouraged by our performance on Monday and we might take more to Fax than Sheffield last week.
