If I thought for one minute that Brian Noble had the squad he wanted I'd say get him out.
This is not a Brian Noble squad.
They are most certainly not a Noble pack, nor do we have Noble style halves.
Before we condemn the man give him the players he needs and probably wants. Only one forward signed since IL bought the club, Riddell.
Props have been our priority for years and we don't look any nearer signing one now than at anytime in the last 16 months.

Which brings us full circle to the fact Noble can't coach this team. It may well not be a Noble type squad but even if IL signed them all Noble should be getting better out of it.

I'm not convinced by that argument - how long has Noble been here - he has certainly been here long enough to have been around whilst most of the signings have been made. How many of the current squad were here when Noble arrived - very few therefore it musty to a degree be his squad - unless the rumours are true and Noble has so little involvment in recruitment that IL picks the squad (although personally if this were true I would have expected Noble to have resigned due to it).
Also Anderson then Potter at Saints have hardly changed the squads big time, McLennan at Leeds the same.

Which means we either provide him with a half back and some props, or we appoint a new coach. i sitll dont see us winning anything with a different coach and this team.

Dear God Ted. Fielden? Hock? Lockers? He's been here 3 years. If you had your way he would be here 20 and you would still be making excuses for him. He cannot coach. He cannot build teams. Deacon, Smith, Elliott, Jennings made Bradford.

This squad is ABSOLUTELY a "Brian Noble" squad.
It may not be made up of the same type of players that he had at Bradford, but he has overseen the signing/re-signing of pretty much EVERY SINGLE PLAYER in the squad.
If he didn't want them, he should have said that and then not extended/renewed their contract.
He has had the choice of every man on that team, and has chosen them as his players.
I agree with sundayroast - I am also (sadly) of the opinion that Brian Noble has run out of ideas.
As with every game that we play, he has tried "Plan A" and when that has been found out/failed he reverts to....... "Plan A"

from the man himself he doesn't have final say in signings at this club and it annoys me when IL comes across all egalitarian at the fans forums. as far as transfer goes i dont think its changed since Mo.
I've seen them bomb a quarter final, bottle a semi final, finish as league leaders, but I've still, never, seen the Wire win the league Doom and gloom, doom and gloom

Personally, I don't care.
Noble is paid to coach the team
Wherever the players come from is of no concern to me.
He simply needs to get the best out of the players we have, every week.
If he was even remotely capable of doing that, we'd be in the top 3 or 4, rather than the bottom 3 or 4.

But the players we have are under achieving.
Our squad, on paper, is a mixture various international players, ex- top NRL stars and some of the countries best young players.
At the end of the day, Ian Lenegan is supplying the tools but they aren't being used correctly.
