Nice read that, and as someone who slated the club last year when the promised players didn't turn up at a kids traning camp it is good that these things are now happening and being recognised.
As I said in another thread, I was on the same flight back as the players on Tuesday morning and every single player was more than happy to sign autographs and pose for photos with my son and other kids. It went some way to overcoming his disappointment at the on field performance.

Stories like this make you wonder what the hell is wrong at Wigan.

Clearly there is a good attitude in the club, and a team spirit. I was told that they were all very disappointed with the St Helens result and were determined to put it right.

So why do we never see any of this translated into performance?

You do have to wonder don't you, it just seems we have zero confidence in ourselves, once a side gets on a roll ala Catalan we can't stop it. Our experienced heads should be standing up at that point, but sadly, the guy who should be leading us to battle couldn't take on a footlong subway currently.

Well done lads this sort of stuff never gets mentioned because its good news and at the mo all we hear is bad news and rumours well done again
