Twelve months ago the bulk of yesterday's team were playing in National League 1. We've added Henry, Smith, Cashmere, Parker and Swain to that team and they each contributed significantly yesterday. Nevertheless we achieved that win at Leeds on the back of some outstanding performances from 'Club produced' players such as Ratchford, Littler, Turner, Alker and Adamson, as well as the likes of Myler and Jewitt who started their football elsewhere but have developed a great deal at the Willows.

We must be doing something right. Here's hoping yesterday wasn't a false dawn but the start of a period where the Salford Reds really are a-rising!

Ken Gill could make the ball talk.

Cashmere is a quality wool, that was his best game yesterday, like to think the little word and handshake I had with him in the carpark on Friday worked.

Signed from North Queensland Cowboys - started the first couple of games quite well then hit a bit of a slump.

We've not seen what he's fully capable of yet - there were games he had for the Cowboys llast year where he was unstoppable, think he went over 200 metres made in a game more than once last season.

Funny you should say that, he's been slagged nearly as much as McRae on here recently.

 Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

Looked at his stats today and he is our top meter maker so far this season, i expected him to be like korki skittlin people but perhaps thats not his game perhaps he grinds them down instead.
