Thought it was spot on actually, you do use spoiling tactics which no good for the game as a whole. FFS, you even PRACTICE laying on in the warm up

Don't talk rubbish.

Try watching a neutral game and see how many times a team steals a few extra seconds and then come back and tell me every team doesnt do it
How one eyed can you get
Thankfully there are a few posters on here with some common sense who can see past their own teams failings yesterday
Not particularly aimed at you but you were the closest to quote

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, mine is Thaler is a poor referee, I thought this long before yesterday. IMO this was one of the worst performances by a set of officials I have seen in many a year. I dont suggest for a minute that Huddersfield were not the better side and they fully deserved the win, but the criticism is NOT aimed at Huddersfield, its aimed at the officials. Perhaps Rovers should be more savvy and take advantage of weak referees, it something Morgan might want to look at as Nathan Brown clearly has done.

Huddersfield deserved the win, yes they used certain tactics to their advantage but who can blame them, they used their heads, we didn't, we lost.
Simple as.

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

Absolutely. I said to many before the game I thought we'd get beat. After a hard derby probably the 3 teams you would want to avoid would be Saints, Hudds and Catalans as a) they are the form teams and b) they are big and very physical, the last thing you would want to meet and would need to be fully fresh and on top form to deal with. After Friday I knew we would be far from it. Clearly Celtic took a lot less out their tank as expected and they also rested a few key players I understand. Their bench was much stronger than ours and it was a surprise to me that ours was so lightweight in comparison. Not sure why Macca, Watts and Mrs Mills weren't used although the latter possibly for more obvious reasons. If we still have any room under the salary cap I think now is the time to use it with the current injuries as we don't seem to have the strength in depth Hudders had.
As for Thaler, a complete joke and Morgan is right to give him stick. If Hull read his words fully and correctly rather than being selective he wasn't just blaming him for the defeat and admitted they were the better side but was very unhappy with many decisions. Just like many Hull fans did after the Salford game! To be fair he did also miss a forward pass from Cookey in the first half that was probably the most forward in the whole game, but they had too many to count!
I wouldn't read too much into the result or the performance against Hudds to be honest. There are so many variables that made it an extraordinary game.

How one eyed can we get? Seems quite odd you saying that as Brian Noble already picked up on this earlier on in the year and had the balls to mention it was down to Browns coaching techniques.
Rovers looked very tired yesterday after the short turnaround against Hull which took a lot out of them. Hudds were the better side, but looking at it, 2 sloppy tries from kicks in the first half, the runaway try at the end was a bit of a freak and won't happen often. With a shocking performance by Thaler (even by his dower standards), I'd say it wouldn't even be worth reading into too much as a far as positives/negatives go.
