I'm sure that you lot are correct when saying that we were offside quite a lot. I'm also convinced that your team were far from angels and were also offside. However, being seated in the £20dump I have no way of telling.
Our holding down waas shorter than most teams - and KR held down just as long/short.
The tackling issue has been all the way to Mr Cummings. Even Boots & All has done a feature on it. Nothing wrong. Absolutely nothing.
From what I have seen of Mr Thaler this season [twice before today] he treated us no different to the opposition, & the opposition no different to us. He lets the game flow - none of your stop/start Mr Ganson stuff - ignores the 'minor' offences but pulls up the 'major' ones.
He is by far the best referee I've seen for a long time.
Ganson's performance in the derby on friday was hardly stop start, think the only penalty rovers got was a techinical one from the kick off going out on the full. And hull got five I think.
And your last comment is an absolute ridiculous statement

Precisely.

Maybe that could be down to Hull being very disciplined on Friday??

Is it just me or are the refs getting worse?
Mr Alibert was again shocking at Saints yesterday, not just in the decisions that went against us but also the decisions that went for us. I literally dont think he knows the rules.

The game is progressing fast but refs seem to be stuck in a time warp.

Its nowt to do with balls, this outburst (reminiscent of his post-match reaction at Whitehaven in 2006) does him no credit whatsoever. There is a time & a place for these statements, and its not in front of the press.
It just looks like sour grapes, and lumps him with Phil Brown in the bad loser stakes.

No it doesn't, this isn't a regular occurance from Justin and shows that Thaler was an absolute disgrace

TBF Morgs has blown his argument out of the window by being so public in his condemnation of the ref. It may offer the east stand airheads some crumbs of comfort in defeat but there are certain channels to express displeasure at the referee and it does not include the press.
My guess is that on reflection, Morgan probably regrets saying what he has and though he may have a point, he has gone about it the wrong way. IMO of course.
