The off the ball running for the Calderwood and G.Horne try was very good but its a shame we had to go behind by so many points before we start actually spreading the ball out.
If you compared our sets from the first half when we were in Saints 20 to the sets in the second half it would look like a entirely different side.
Impressed with Washy today. He's had a stop-start beginning to the season, but looked more like it today.

Seems odd that we went away from the tactic Sharp always employed against Saints of kicking it dead which worked really well i thought.
alot of the time the poor kicks are because we are not making enough ground when we have ball in hand. Making the 30m line or a little over it doesnt give you much of a chance to get a good kick away

Hallellujah - someone whop understands. Oh, hang on, somebody will be telling us Brough could kick further - why did we get rid of him?

Washy has been a massive miss for us this season, to have him and Whiting back is excellent news. Despite all the doom and gloom I don't think we are that far off being a good side and we could easily finish in the top four.

Very true.

Its always the same though, we only ever start playing some decent rugby when the game looks to be gone or we are chasing it and the players think "might as well go for it now".

Agree Paul, Whiting is a big plus and Washy can make breaks and put people through gaps and help out Thorman and Horney.
