Well, I would hope so because I honestly don't think grabbing the arm of anyone is worth a prison sentence.

Judges do like to pontificate, obviously, but feasibly the judge could sentence the pair of them to time but of course they have a right to appeal against the sentence if their legal team thinks it inappropriate.

I would hope community service at worst. I think that is definitely the most appropriate punishment for both of them. They've already had all the negative publicity so it's not like they've snuck around without any consequences.

The irony for me is when a so called " Rovers " fan can be so outspoken in his condemnation of Cockayne (and Cooke before him) yet fails to comment on the Reardon wife beating case.

I think you might find that when he pleaded guilty to the CHARGES he was also pleading guily to Intimidation, Forced Breaking and Entering, Trespassing, Unlawfull Entry on top of the assualt.
That it why he is probably looking at Bird according to the Judge.

Got to say i'd be very surprised if he does recieve a custodial sentance for this, i see a lot worse than this or as it's described in the press that do not recieve custodial sentances, especially if it is his first offence.

Nope. I believe both Pryce and Reardon only pled guilty to the charge of assault.

The prosecution failed to produce evidence to supoprt the charges relating to how they got into the building (violent entry).
